What medium do I use?

I paint in acrylic because it dries quickly and that gives me the opportunity to make energetic, free and vibrant strokes.

The materials used are of the highest quality with the highest degree of lightfastness, so that the original colour remains intact for at least 100 years in the best conditions. However, I also varnish them to ensure UV resistance.

What is a Giclée print?

Giclée is a French term which describes the process of making Fine Art prints from a digitized source using an ink jet printer. This is a type of fine art digital print that’s printed at a very high resolution and captures the finest details and shades of color that best represents the artist’s original work.

Fine art giclée prints have become the print method of choice for professional photographers, artists, publishers of fine art, and museums who demand high quality fine art reproductions.

Giclée printing is itself considered an authentic work of art, using specialized high-resolution technology and considered the best technique of reproduction of original works of art that exists in the world.

The durability of the prints exceeds 100 years if kept in acid free areas.

Do you do commissioned work?

My focus is on my collections and exhibitions, but I accept a limited number of design commissions. I can paint something special for you related with surf lifestyle, aerial seascape or a beach that is special to you. Send me an email to info@artechaniz.com with enquires and please include:

Shipping

Shipping costs

All artworks are packed and shipped once the payment transaction has been confirmed. Please give me up to 10 business days to pack your artwork safely. I can offer worldwide shipping, but the cost depends on your destination country.

The shipping costs mentioned below refer exclusively to prints and studies:

  • Spain, Andorra and Portugal – FREE
  • Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Jersey, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Cyprus, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey – 9,99 €

Deliveries to peninsular Spain, Andorra and Portugal are sending by a Responsible Delivery. This type of non-urgent delivery is more environmentally sustainable because it allows the transport company to optimise delivery routes by waiting until the transport is complete, which helps to reduce emissions. Delivery times for these destinations are between 48 and 72 hours, but the duration of the shipment may vary depending on the origin and destination.

Shipping time and characteristics of the rest of the destinations will depend on the size of the artwork and your country destination. If you have doubts about the time it would take to receive your item, please provide me with the information about the destination address and I will be happy to give you all the specific information.

Please note that I am not responsible for customs payments in any case.

After I removed my Art Print from its packaging, it was all rolled up. How can I fix it?

Your print may remain for some time rolled up on itself when you take it out of its packaging. You have several options to correct this:

  • Unroll the print, place some weight on top of it (such as books) and let it sit for a couple of days.
  • Place the print directly in a frame as this will force it to lie flat.
  • Roll the print in the opposite direction around the shipping tube, secure both ends with rubber bands and let it sit for an hour or two.
My Artwork arrived damaged

My priority is to get your Artwork safely to you, so I prepare it with a meticulous shipping process to ensure its protection as much as possible, while trying to stay true to my values of minimizing environmental impact. But sometimes it can happen that the transport company does not know the value of what it’s inside and could destroy it! If you’ve received an Artwork that has sadly suffered a cruel damage in route to you, please email me a clear picture of the damage at info@artechaniz.com within 10 days of receiving it and we will find the best solution.

Returns

Do you accept returns?

I would be so sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with my artwork. If you have changed your mind, money will only be refunded as long as the item is returned intact. If it arrives to me with any deformation or any kind of damage it will lose all its value and therefore no money will be refunded.

Unfortunately, I do not offer free returns. In case I receive the artwork undamaged, you will always be refunded the amount you paid for the art, but you will not be refunded the amount you paid for the shipping costs, since this amount was used to send the item to you. If you paid in a currency other than EUR, exchange rates may fluctuate between the time of purchase and the refund, which may affect the amount of the refund.

You must return the item within 10 days from the delivery date. Please note that I am not responsible for customs payments in any case.
